I have come to like what I believe is my favorite scripture now. Which is Proverbs 3:6 Acknowledge him in all ways and he shall direct your path.

Honestly it's that simple. If you put your trust and faith in him. He will lead your way, if your are unsure. I am unsure all the time. I face fear on a regular basis. I just know for a fact God definitely has got my back. There is no question about it. And as I get older I have to become more aware of that. 

My birthday is important because I was blessed with life. My life is important because I inspire and motivate others. Simple! 

~Tackling Student Loan Debt~

A confident woman is one who is financially fit. Although most people don't like to face their debt, I believe when one does it makes them feel courageous. Let's face it, most Americans are living in debt and for some of us it comes from student loans. We are in debt for the education we received.

I remember when I first graduated from high school. I almost made the decision not to attend college because of debt. Well I had a guy from an organization called "I Know I Can" telling me I should go. And of course I took his advice and very thankful I did. I met some amazing people during my college journey. It's something no one can take away and I am very blessed to have a degree.

However, the hardships of paying back these loans are tuft. I started off with about 16,500 when I graduated. Now I am up to 17,400 from deferments blah! Well this year I said I am determined to pay as much back as I can. I know I will pay this debt off!

So my plans are simply and sweet. Spend less and pour more money into my student loans. I'm paying off the loans with the least amounts 1st. My loans range from $300 to 5,600 I have 11 loans total. Tomorrow I will be sending off my 1st full payment for loan #4 yay!

This is just the beginning of my financial boot camp journey. I'm will take you along the way with me and give tips. I know there are others out there needing help too. And since help is what I'm all about doing...I'll keep yall posted.

~Find Your Passion Live Your Passion~

There is no reason we should work our whole lives to fulfill someone else's dreams. Unless that is your dream job and you love it. However, today I am speaking to the majority who have gifts and dreams yet are afraid of stepping out on them. Well today I say no more!!! If you haven't found your passion yet ask your friends and family what they think your gifts are. Try new things to see what excites you. And link up with someone who has found their passion and I guarantee you will find yours too. It's really that simple you don't have to know everything. You can be ignorant and still be on fire. You don't have to have all the pieces to the puzzle either. All you need is confidence and action to start working on your dreams. You will fall but continue to keep pushing. One day your dreams will come true. Stop giving your energy away to something you don't love. It's about time to feed you passion. Doing something you love will free you.

Hey, I know I am not there yet myself. However, I have major goals and I will not stop until I succeed. I am working very hard this year to get my feet warm. Major things are gonna be in the works and I am super duper excited!!! And of course I will be blogging about my journey along the way. Once I make it I want to teach other. And people I teach I want them to be better than me. 

Also, my mentor gave me this bible verse to read. Proverbs 3:6 "In all things acknowledge him, and he shall direct your path." I guess that pretty much sums it up. Trust God and he will lead the way. Life is meant to be joyful and free. Start living life freely my sweet candycanes!

~Love Yours~

Trent basically sums it up with this one. "There no such thing as a life that is better than yours" (in my J-Cole voice). I feel in love with that song at 1st listen. God made use all unique for a reason. Our talents and gifts are in no way shape or form the same. Recently, I was dealing with the social media illusion as Trent called it. I had to quickly catch myself to not get caught up in the hype. Like I mentioned before nobody's life is perfect. We all go through things. So we have to stop looking at these illusions and second guessing ourselves. Our lives are #1, we are the winners, and the real MVP's.

~San Juan Puerto Rico~

I'm sitting back thinking about my vacation last year in PR. It's a place I have to go to again. Beautiful people, beautiful culture, and of course amazing food. One thing I really loved about Puerto Rico is how people embrace one another. They embrace with a hug and a kiss on the cheek. I can't wait until I can do this traveling for a living. I'm already speaking it into existence! Next time I go I want to visit the rain forest. That has always been a dream of mine. 

~Don't Be The whale, Be The Ocean~

I  heard the above title at a poetry night a month ago. It was so profound that I had to save it to my phone.(I wish I remembered the poets name). When we think of a whale, a massive animal comes to our mind. Now compare that huge whale to the ocean. It doesn't even compare in size. In fact, the whale merely become a very small ant in my eyes. The same metaphor can be applied towards our lives. Why settle for whale dreams, when your can have ocean dreams. Why settle for whale gifts, when you have ocean gifts. Why settle for a whale man, when can have an ocean man. Why settle for that whale job, when there awaits an ocean job out there for you. Why, why, why do we limit ourselves when the world is so much bigger.

So today I challenge you to becoming one with the ocean. Think BIG because we have greatness within us!!! We are Oceans!!!

Believe In Yourself

Sometimes that is all it takes for you to start accomplishing your goals. Remain focused and build your own self-confidence. Believing in yourself, and not letting the dream killers cross your path. God made you special for a reason. You're on this earth for a reason. You're gifted and unique in your abilities. Stop praising other people's gifts and talents before you do your own! A lot of us have that problem including myself. However, I know going forward I will put myself first and praise my God given talents. I hope you guys enjoyed this night time motivational boost. My strong passion gift that I will never let go to waste. 

~Bridal Show Fun~

I really had an amazing time today at the bridal show.  I'm not engaged or anything I just love the beauty of weddings. My associate is getting into wedding planning and asked me to go. I plan on going to another one next week. They really are that much fun.

~Happy New Year 2015~

I know I have been away from my blog for a very long time. I made a strong effort to return today to say that I am alive. It's really hard taking a break from the things you love. I would always felt like writing and posting on my blog. However, I took 2014 out to find out more about myself. Like who am I really....I became very introverted and stayed to myself. It was a very interesting time for me to find out more about myself. My likes and dislikes, what I wanted more from life itself. Am I were I want to be right now? Most currently not...I have to keep discovering more about myself on a day to day basis. Like a natural habit, so it's just as common to me as brushing my teeth. So what is my New Year Resolution?? I normally place them in to quotes. However, I couldn't find just the right one for 2015. So I am just gonna say it is to face more of my fears, and become more social! I am so super duper excited to see what this new year will bring, not just for me but for us. I know this year will be prosperous and filled with blessings in Jesus name.


Today is also marks the last day of Kwanzaa with Imani meaning Faith. "To believe with our hearts in our people, our parents, our teachers our leaders and the righteousness and victory of our struggle".
