That Damn Don Julio Made Me A Fool for You

I just watched a YouTuber who said on her recent video “That damn Don Julio made me a fool for you.” I couldn’t wait to elaborate and speak on this topic because that statement was so real. And I could relate 100%.

I feel as a woman we let man get the most for doing the least. What do I mean by doing the least…..buying us a drink, giving minimum attention, wack bedroom activities, and small purchases. I’ve seen some women get so worked up for a guy that ain’t never do ish for them but give wack ****. And they end up as a broke busted single mom. Their lives begins to crumble meanwhile that dude is moving on to the next chic. Yeah, this post is not going to be sugarcoated and sweet it’s going to be straight raw. I’m just so tired of seeing the same things going on, and women being foolish to these dusty males.

I feel “us” women need to start putting our foot 🦶 down and demanding respect. That starts with getting your confidence levels up and avoiding these grown boys. My mom once told me that one of her friends use to put her bills on her fridge. And when a guy would try to date her she would ask them “which bill are you going to pay?” sounds like a woman who knew her time was worth something. And I’m not saying everything revolves around money either. I’m saying that is what worked for her….everybody’s something is going to be a little different. Like Denzel Washington’s wife made him propose multiple times because he didn’t do it right. Another business owner I met said his wife told him before they were married if he wanted to continue talking to her, he had to get her car out the shop. He told me he did and they have been inseparable. He said he would pick his wife over his mom and kids. Those are just some examples of women who knew their worth.

Now, don’t get me wrong we will all go through our Don Julio fool stages. However, it’s about moving on to bigger and better things. Not allowing yourself to get there ever again. It’s a battle of not letting the small things excite you. Especially, when you know you got that designer 🐱 (S/O to Summer Walker). All I am saying is put the highest value on yourself, and it’s levels to it. You are the only one who can determine your level. You should be a woman of worth command what you want….a 💍, a commitment, bills paid, what is it? Let’s stop following for the games it’s about to be 2022. Let the dusty ones go and level up, it’s time sis!

~V-Day~

Yesterday was so amazing great! I went to the Chris Brown and Trey between the sheets concert. It was a great concert Chris and is dancing was the best part. Trey can really sing in person good too. I seen him in Vegas a few years ago though. Before the concert I got to witness my brother get married. It was such a beautiful experience, I almost cried. Yeah I normally don't do much for valentine's day being single. This was one of the best Valentines days ever.

~Closure will Come~

Closure will come, even if it's four years later with a clean cut. A wolf covered in the attire of a sheep. Mines came like that, last weekend. It wasn't pretty, nor was it ugly. However, he showed his true colors, and put an end to all the madness I once lived.

After hearing this poem, it gave me life!

So...this is to you Michael Jamal Johnson. Is that all you got? It's gonna take much more to BREAK me!

~Letter to the Main~

One of many, circles and circles of them,
which one to pick,
is it me, side, jump-off main,
nobody get to be the one,
we all are one of many,
toss around in a circle,
your circle of convince,
your circle of fatherhood to many,
plenty of seeds,
trying to create more pots, pots to implant your seeds,
not in just one,
no one is not enough, you need two,
no, you need three, side jump-off
and main, three girls in the running,
who will remain? caught in a circle
your circle of lies,
the one who remains is blind,
or maybe she can see but doesn't want to
because you wear your mask so perfectly
who gets the phone call tonight?
Who will be lonely?
who will be questioning her future,
waiting doesn't have an answer
the silence in the wait is the answer,
I wonder how you sleep at night,
knowing your life isn't real,
a picture he painted for you,
you can see right threw him
instead of beating it out
you prefer the lie,
the truth is we all in the circle,
his circle, you're just his main
when we are gone his cycle will remain,
I found the truth when he told me about you,
now enlighten yourself, to see what I have seen,
question his lies, we were all a part of his circle,
I no longer remain,
I caught on to his games, and what's the joy of being the main?
Being a main will always put you in the circle,
don't be the main, be the one and only!

~June Monthly Motivation~

I know a lot of people who think sometimes they're in love, when they're connected by a soul tie. Hey, I will be the 1st to admit I had a situation like that too. And I am still dealing with a situation like that now. Soul-ties can be good or bad. Example of a bad soul-tie is feels good, looks good, and smells good. A good soul-tie is a healthy relationship key word "RELATE." I told the guy I once was talking to that we are soul-ties. He said what is that? I said look it up and call me back. When he did he said "wow Candace I never heard of that." Than he said, which one the bad or good one? I said you tell me....of course it was the bad one. I had to take time out and pray about my situation. Since we are friends it's really hard for me to break away emotionally, but it's nothing God can't handle. Good thing I look to him for favor & advice :)

Tony Gaskin's Jr. is an excellent relationship coach. He speaks the truth and isn't afraid to speak on issues most choice to remain silent to. Last year I took a relationship teleseminar class with him and it was great. I plan on purchasing his book Mrs.Right soon. I will post a review when I am done. If you have time check
out his other videos on YouTube. Also, you can follow him on twitter @tonygaskins.

~Say What!!!~

11thscreen.com

Have you ever been lied to? Not just some old regular lie, I mean a good ole exaggerated lie. One that made you respond with "Say What" Well I just had that experience this past weekend. I was eating lies like inmates devour their last meal. So good that I fell into the trap....and you think those stories on "MAURY" are fake. He feed me lies so sweet, I could of been the 1st story that aired come Monday morning. Because as we all know, the first story is the best one! It's the one that makes everybody's mouths drop. Well, my mouth was not only dropping, it was "pop, lock, and dropping." He feed me lies for one full month to be exact.

The best thing about being a woman is having a woman's intuition. I know a lot of women try to ignore signs to protect their hearts. I'm so the opposite though, I question everything like Inspector Gadget. Now mind you he never once tired to come clean....all the answers to my questions turned into bigger lies. He even tried to turn things around on me to make me seem psycho.

Thank God I have older friends that I could confide in for advice. I was told what to do to hear the truth and it worked. Sometimes you have to lie to hear the truth, and that is exactly what I did. I pretend to know everything....an actress that should of won an Oscar. I couldn't let my emotions and feelings show after secrets one, two, and three were revealed. I had to make him feel safe and comfortable telling me the truth, which meant hiding the pain and rage. After he departed, I had my festival of tears mixed with pain prepared well done. I kept to reminding myself "time heals everything."

I must say that even though he lied we are still good friends. He apologized and I accepted his apology. I told him we will take this day-by-day.  That's the good thing about it though...we still can remain friends after all the after-math. Most people told me they couldn't do it, I can though because I've learned to take relationships for what they are to me. Not all stories have happy endings, unless you're reading a fairytale anyways.

And I know I didn't reveal the secrets...this is a public blog after all. I'm gonna start writing about relationship to my blog now. I haven't been in a lot of relationship but I have plenty of stories. I will mix past with present, hopefully you guys will enjoy those. And if you read "Sweet Lies" this post is the post related to it. Poetry & writing helps me get through so much....I love writing :)
