Times have changed
but do emotions stay the same
are humans souls combined
intertwined with one another
my heart and soul my love
my life in which you hold
I glance at us
you and I
and I can not deny the butterflies
the chills you send me
it's times like this I am lost in love with poetry
the poetic flow keeps me afloat in heavens arms
white picket fence dreams
hearing kids scream
oh the taste of sanity
like a dessert with a cherry on top
everything is always sweeter that way
but than I think, this view may become blurry
decode my heart
start me up again
play me a song, but choose the right instrument
so we can be in a world together
were the melody is heaven sent
