*This is Temporary*

I always think to myself when I go to work, this is only temporary. Which simply translates to I got bigger and better plans for my life. One day I will be able to move on with my dreams, goals, and aspirations.

For a very long time I told myself I want to uplift and inspire people. It has always been a passion of mine. And one of the reasons I started this blog many years ago. I still feel the same way in my 30s as I did in my 20s. The world needs more people like me too. I have traveled to speaking seminars, conferences, and even taken online workshops. And even though I feel it in my heart. I always second guess myself with doubt and fear. However, I won't let fear get in my way. Next year I plan on speaking somewhere! At least to get the gears rolling.

I have learned so much this year alone, I want to share my knowledge with people. I will forever be evolving and growing inside and out. I'm getting my love for reading back on track. I plan to start a platform to inspire and uplift woman. One of my favorite jobs I ever had was working in a group home with teenagers. It was challenging with very low wages but worth it. I want to be that beacon of light to someone one day. If I could just help one person, I know my time wasn't wasted on this earth. My mom keeps telling me to speak too. She said do something you love. I'm going to spend a great part of the end of this year doing that. Planning and prepping for the goodness in 2019. I know the road will not be easy but it's what I was made for!

I really want to quit my job next year. I'm not quite sure of the exact date but next year is my target year. I can keep on doing the same thing expecting different results. That's why this year financial stability was important to me. Those little steps helped me along my journey. I'm nervous and a bit scared to come up out of my comfort zone but hey remember this is only temporary. I was not meant to work a 9-5 for 40 years. I'm just going to leave it at that.

Until next time stay sweet my candy canes😘

*Acting Background Extra*

It's so much fun being on set as an extra. It takes a lot of hard work being on your feet for 16 hours. We only had a 30 min lunch break. It was so worth it to me though. I had a fitting for this movie because it was 80s time frame. We had make up artists and hair stylists too...how cool! I was in two scenes for this movie like I was my last time. This one I had to travel to Cleveland, OH in May of this year. They're coming up in the entertainment world Cleveland rocks lol.

I can't wait to do more movies and acting period. This is one of my passions that I love so much. Whatever you want to do in life do it, follow your dreams. This movie is entitled White Boy Rich. It's based on a true story. It's gonna be a really good movie. The director was very creative and he was amazing to work with. After we finished shooting I said thank you so much, he said oh you are welcome sweetheart😀.

Knowing who you are will make you happier in life. You're happy when you do stuff you love. I love acting and I will continue to act. I know there are other passions that I love too. This is just one of them. If you love acting you can start with being an extra. It will give you experience being on set. It will show you that this is hard work.

Find a casting agency, talent manager, and find free resouces like youtube videos or blogs. It will get you in the right steps to acting. Hopefully, this will help someone😀

~Lesson from the Wise~

Some times we may think we have it all in order. However, our plans do not have to be perfect. Sometimes we don't even have to have a plan in place at all. Our journey sometimes may just take a big leap of faith.

This is something I struggle with often. I think it's more due to how society make us look crazy if we think outside the box. I tell people all the time I can't work a 9-5 forever. And they look at me like I'm about to jump off a bridge or something. They follow up with questions like how are you gonna do that.

There is one thing that I know. What is possible for one is possible for all. Success leaves clues and I will pick them up. My path is already set because I'm following the direction of God. My plan was already in place before I came to this earth. In the words of Ms. Lauren Hill. It could all be so simple but you rather make it hard! I need to lighten up a little bit and take it easy. The Lord is driving let me sit back and enjoy the ride to success.

~Find Your Passion Live Your Passion~

There is no reason we should work our whole lives to fulfill someone else's dreams. Unless that is your dream job and you love it. However, today I am speaking to the majority who have gifts and dreams yet are afraid of stepping out on them. Well today I say no more!!! If you haven't found your passion yet ask your friends and family what they think your gifts are. Try new things to see what excites you. And link up with someone who has found their passion and I guarantee you will find yours too. It's really that simple you don't have to know everything. You can be ignorant and still be on fire. You don't have to have all the pieces to the puzzle either. All you need is confidence and action to start working on your dreams. You will fall but continue to keep pushing. One day your dreams will come true. Stop giving your energy away to something you don't love. It's about time to feed you passion. Doing something you love will free you.

Hey, I know I am not there yet myself. However, I have major goals and I will not stop until I succeed. I am working very hard this year to get my feet warm. Major things are gonna be in the works and I am super duper excited!!! And of course I will be blogging about my journey along the way. Once I make it I want to teach other. And people I teach I want them to be better than me.

Also, my mentor gave me this bible verse to read. Proverbs 3:6 "In all things acknowledge him, and he shall direct your path." I guess that pretty much sums it up. Trust God and he will lead the way. Life is meant to be joyful and free. Start living life freely my sweet candycanes!

~Meeting My Favorite Motivational Speaker Les Brown~

I got to meet my favorite Motivational Speaker on Thursday with my cousin in pic too. It was sad I had to meet him at a funeral though. You can tell by his smile...that he just has a joyful heart all the time. It just shows my dream are real...what you attract to life will come! You can believe that! I didn't know I would meet him that day. Some how God made our paths cross...Thanks Les Brown for being such a friendly spirited person. You definitely made my day on Thursday God Bless!!!

~Open Mic~

So tonight I'm going to an open mic night. It just so happened my friend invited me to one. I haven't performed in a while (as far as open mic goes), I can't wait to tap into the inner artist inside of me tonight. And I love to hear other works of art too. This should be very interesting...I can't wait!!!!

~Dreams have Meaning~

This is a little something I wrote from my BB phone, just random thoughts...enjoy!

sometimes our dreams seem unrealistic
but were does logic come into play anyways?
we dream, we wake up, then poof be gone

I think dreams mean something
they must, to be so close to the real thing

I had a dream last night and I believe
it was true

to feel love like that
I think I can start over

I think I can get some clear answers

After all when you dream about someone,
your souls create a form of synergy. A connection that can not broken. But in the end is it all worth it? Of course it is, why live life guessing? Why live life questioning?

Because in the end if you achieve it, it was worth the wait. If you don't achieve it, it was still worth the wait. It was worth the wait because you did everything you could to make it worth the risk. In the end passion always wins, you can try to fight it but it always comes out on top. Don't play mind games with yourself.

You see the picture is crystal clear
only you can decide,
only you can make the choice
and if i were you i would choose passion too.

You may say it is just a dream,
and it will not come true
I say don't feed into logic,
or you are in fear of being blue
